What's It All About?

It's about making a decent income, either as a primary source or supplemental source.

It's about making your way as a single parent on a single income, or convincing a skeptical husband that you can make it if he'll just give you the chance --- and then making the most of that chance.

It's about balance between home and business and avoiding conflicts.

It's about chiseling out your niche in the wide world of a gotta-have-it-now society.

It's about making your voice heard over millions of other voices.

But, mostly, it's about you. How do others perceive you? How do you want to be perceived? Are you a confident business owner with a great (or maybe even a not so great) product line and opportunity? Or, are you apologetic to potential recruits, and feel you have to give everybody a discount to make a sale? Are you proud of what you do, or are you ashamed to be in sales? You have to sell yourself first or they aren't going to look at your product or your opportunity.

What do you have to do to sell yourself? Take a look in your mirror. That's the person you have to persuade before you can persuade others that you are an expert in your field, with a product and opportunity worthy of their consideration. If you're not convinced, they're not convinced and they'll shut you out.
